Parish Court Recruits For Jury Duty

NEW ORLEANS – The Orleans Parish criminal justice system is looking for a few good jurors — recruiting volunteers to help decide cases.

The Orleans Parish Criminal Court Jury Administrator is advertising on radio stations and some Web sites looking for people to volunteer for jury duty.

Since criminal district court reopened in early 2006, there has been a problem finding jurors.
